COOPERATION PROTOCOL WAS SIGNED WITH MATTO FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOL WITH 24 CLASSROOM IN MALATYA WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF MINISTER TEKİN

Speaking at the signing ceremony held in Governorship of Malatya, Minister Tekin thanked the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia Yeton Şakiri, North Macedonia Representative of the Turkish Maarif Foundation Mehmet Baran and the MATTO administration and officials from North Macedonia, who were attended the online signing ceremony.
 
Emphasizing that there is a deep-rooted friendship between the two countries, both historically and socially, Minister Tekin said that they have to take measures to maintain the brotherhood and friendship of the two communities for future generations. Expressing that the ceremony that bring them together today is actually one of the best events for the long-term transfer of the law of friendship and brotherhood to future generations, Minister Tekin stressed that they were faced with the February 6 earthquakes "Disaster of the Century" that affected a significant part of Türkiye, in which they lost great lives. Underlining that nations never forget the countries that stand by them in such difficult days, Minister Tekin said that they are very happy with this attitude of the friendly and brother nations. Thanking North Macedonia for their support and gesture, Tekin also expressed his gratitude for all the people of North Macedonia and everyone who contributed and stood by them in these difficult times.
 
Thanking those who contributed to the protocol and supported the construction of the school, Minister Göktaş stated that the school will also be a token of the friendship between the two countries. Minister Göktaş also thanked the friendly and brother country North Macedonia for the contribution and support as well as for being with Türkiye in these difficult times.
 
Expressing his sincere wishes for the continuation of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries, Minister Yeton Şakiri, conveyed his sadness to Türkiye on behalf of his people and himself for the earthquake disaster which occurred on February 6. Noting that the cooperation will be a bridge for the continuation of the friendship and solidarity between the two countries, Şakiri thanked everyone and MATTO for the small contribution they have made compared to the support of Türkiye.
 
After the speeches, the cooperation protocol for the construction of the North Macedonia Secondary School with 24 classrooms to be built in Aşağıbağlar neighborhood was signed by the President of MATTO Ajdovan Ademoski and Provincial Director of National Education Hatice Özdemir.
