Number of EBA Support Points which was established in order to help students who do not have computers and internet access during distance education to use live class applications and benefit from education contents available in the Education Information Network (EBA) reached 15 thousand. Moreover, the number of Mobile Support Vehicles which can reach all parts of Turkey under all weather conditions is gradually increasing.
The Ministry of National Education aims at helping more children obtain access to face to face education during the controlled normalization process and provide more active service in the EBA Support Points.
Meanwhile, 164 EBA Support Points were established in schools in Hatay, Kilis, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Ankara whose students are dominantly Syrians with the financial support of UNICEF in order to provide support to distance education during the global pandemic.
EBA Support Points are equipped with a total of 3.169 computer sets
Teacher desks, chairs, computer desks at EBA Support Points are produced by the vocational schools with the support of Directorate for Classroom Furniture Production Center.
According to the project carried out in cooperation with UNICEF, EBA Mobile Support Vehicles will be sent to six cities until the end of this school term. 8 students will be able to study in the vehicle at the same time and there will be a projection device, 4.5 G Wi-Fi modem and a total of 49 computer sets in each vehicle.

Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk said during his speech at the opening of the EBA Support Point established in Keçiören Şehit Bayram Kavcı Secondary School in cooperation with UNICEF that the number of EBA Support Centers is gradually increasing.
Noting that students can benefit from internet, computer and EBA content services for free in these centers, Selçuk stressed: "These centers are permanent. They are not established temporarily in order to respond to the demands that emerge due to global pandemic.
