FACE TO FACE EDUCATION BEGINGS FOR DRIVING LICENSE, OTHER VARIOUS COURSES AS WELL AS IN SPECIAL EDUCATION AND REHABILITATION CENTERS

Deputy Minister of National Education Mustafa Safran sent a circular to Provincial Directorates of National Education pointing out that Turkey has decided to suspend face to face education between November 20, 2020 to January 4, 2021 in all private training institutions due to the rising Covid-19 pandemic impact because of weather conditions according to the Law no 5580 on Private Education Institutes.
 
The circular noted that under the condition of complying with lockdown restrictions, face to face education will begin on January 4 for various different courses, private transportation services vocational and improvement courses, working machine driving license courses, in service training centers, special education and rehabilitation centers as well as vocational training centers.
 
The circular said it is planned to start face to face education in private education courses on February 15, 2021.
 
It is also stated that there will be examinations at the end of the education period of private education institutions and course hours will be set according to the lockdown restrictions.
 
Meanwhile, institutions which will give scholarship to students will hold assessment exams until the end of May.
