Calling on students, teachers and parents to catch a breath during the summer holiday, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk pointed out that the Ministry has organized dozens of social, emotional and physical activities for students. The goal is to reach all students who want to spend their summer holidays in nature and dealing with sports, culture, arts and science. Within this framework, the Ministry has prepared different activities in different cities. Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Interior Affairs will join forces with the Ministry of National Education in the "I am in the remedial training, too" project.

Every city organizes programs suitable to their own conditions and characteristics. Minister Selçuk was a guest in the camp where students are attending remedial activities in Hakkari.

Selçuk met with students at the camp area located in Mergabütan Ski Center in Hakkari.

Students will attend dozens of activities such as climbing, finding directions, horse riding, archery, tying knot, trekking, hygiene and values training programs for their physical and mental development in nature and make new friends. Students will start their day with sports activities every day.

After the visit, Minister Selçuk went to Depin Region of Zap River where the 2nd leg of the Turkey Rafting Championship was held.

Minister Selçuk gave the start at the rafting competition between students coming from different schools.

Selçuk noted that the program cannot be divided as "remedy of lessons" or "remedy of epidemic" and every activity aims at blending joy with lessons.

"Football, volleyball, canoe, archery tactics include math, psychics, logic, concentration and motivation... There is chemistry in the camp fire; there is biology in trees at the camp... There is balance and feeling the force in rafting. Learning from these experiences is priceless."
