Coming together with the teachers at the meeting held in Eskişehir Teacher's House, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin reminded them that they come side by side with the teachers at every opportunity during their visits. The Minister noted that they tried to develop solutions by listening to the problems of the field from the teachers, who are the core elements of education.

 

Minister Tekin said that the developments such as giving teachers a right to a second relocation in local and inter-provincial appointments, assigning teachers to the service of provincial national education directorates regarding compassionate relocation were brought to the agenda at the teachers' room meetings.

 

Noting that the "right to relocation due to excuses", which was granted to teachers in provinces that were heavily hit by the earthquake, was also recognized, Tekin stated that as the Ministry, they will continue to stand by the teachers with all their means.

 

Expressing that as the Ministry, they attach great importance to the teachers' rooms, Minister Tekin said that they will rearrange all teachers' rooms in schools by developing a new concept.

 

Speaking one by one and expressing their feelings, thoughts and expectations, the teachers stated that they welcomed the decisions in the circular regarding the 2023-2024 school year, especially on mobile phone restriction, absenteeism and class repetition.
