Meeting with the teachers at the program held in İstanbul Sabancı Teacher's House, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin stated that they want to include teachers in the decisions they will take in the education and training processes. Tekin reminded them that they met with the teachers for that purpose.

 

Stating that they would meet frequently to talk with the teachers and consult on issues related to the problem areas encountered in the field, Minister Tekin said that they would be glad to evaluate the opinions and suggestions given by teachers.

 

Emphasizing that they did not and will not make any promises that they could not deliver, Minister Tekin underlined that they will work day and night to fulfill their promises on a certain matter.

 

Noting that as the Ministry, they have started a series of studies that will guide the education policies in the new period, Minister Tekin reminded that they made an amendment on the Regulation on Private Education Institutions today. Minister Tekin stated that they are involved in a series of studies from teacher training to secondary education, from vocational education to the development of educational environments.

 

Minister Tekin gave a speech to the teachers attending the meeting and listened to their opinions, suggestions and expectations regarding education.
