MINISTRY OF NATIONAL EDUCATION COMMUNICATION CENTER (MEBİM) IS AWARDED WITH SECOND PRIZE

MEBİM which is working in an effort to provide all kinds of information to students, teachers, parents and people in line with the equality of opportunity in education and provide effective and quick solution to questions, demands, views and suggestions was awarded with a second prize in a worldwide contest participated by many countries from America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
 
Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk said in his statement concerning this subject, "We are happy to hear that the communication center which was revamped with robots equipped with artificial intelligence systems has won the second prize in a worldwide contest and it has represented our country successfully in the international arena. We are among a few countries in the world which supported academic contents with artificial intelligence."
 
Pointing out that MEBİM 444 0 637 contact center also worked as a psycho-support hotline during the pandemic, Minister Selçuk said, "Our Ministry has founded Psycho-social Support Hotline with the support of school and psychological counselors from 81 cities of our country in order to provide psycho-social support against Covid-19 trauma. People can call "444 0 632" seven days and 24 hours and obtain support from our experts. Maybe, Turkey is the first and only country that can provide such support through a contact center."
 
MEBİM was awarded with second prize in the "Best Communication Center" category among finalists from more than 50 countries as a part of Contact Center World Awards 2020 organized by the Contact Center World. 
 
The Contact Center World has been organizing contests in various different categories every year and formed a list of bests in the international contact center industry. First stage of the contest which is made up of two stages took place in America, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
 
Finalists are selected by jurists made up of elite sector professionals from the world. Assessments, question and answer forms about the details of services are examined thoroughly after the written presentation of operational KPIs and specifications of communication centers. With the purpose of protection of objectivity principle, jurists do not assess competitors from their own countries.
 
The contest which was postponed three times due to pandemic finally took place online on October 29, 2020 and was participated by more than 50 countries.
