Ministry of National Education and Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO) signed a cooperation protocol for the founding of a perfection center about CNC operation and welding technology in Mehmet Rüştü Uzel Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School as a part of the Ministry's goal to reinforce "education-production-employment" cycle.

Within this purpose, the cooperation protocol was signed by the GSO Chairman Adnan Ünverdi and Gaziantep Provincial Director of National Education Yasin Tepe under the leadership of Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer.

Expressing his wish that the project will be beneficial for all parties, Deputy Minister Özer stressed that cooperation protocols signed with strong representatives of the private sector achieved success. He went on to say that: "We have taken important steps for the reconstruction and reinforcement of vocational education in line with the needs of the labor market in the last 3 years. Within this framework, we are carrying out important projects in vocational education with TOBB, İSO, İTO, ASO and ATO. Since 2021, we focus on thematic projects. For example, in addition to existing cooperation protocols signed with İstanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO), we have founded perfection centers about welding and software in İstanbul in cooperation with İSO. Similarly, we successfully continue to cooperate with PAGEV (Turkish Plastic Industrialists' Research, Development and Education Foundation) as a part of projects carried out in İstanbul and Gebze while we signed a cooperation protocol with Serdar Plastic Ltd. for the establishment of perfection center regarding plastic technology in the Ankara 1st Organized Industrial Zone. Now, we are taking a similar step in Gaziantep. We have signed a cooperation protocol with GSO for the founding a perfection center about CNC operation and welding technology at the Mehmet Rüştü Uzel Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School."

Meanwhile, GSO Chairman Adnan Ünverdi stated they will continue to organize training programs and provide opportunities in an effort to respond to the demand for qualified workforce of industrial companies.
