PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY LABS WILL BE ESTABLSIED IN ALL SCHOOLS SELECTED AS A PART OF THE 100 SCHOOLS IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROJECT

The Ministry of National Education continues to take strong steps as a part of the 1000 schools in the Vocational Education Project.
 
The Ministry has 176 million liras allocated in 2020 for the reinforcement of infrastructure of selected schools and improvement of school environments.
 
Within the context of the project which also aims at reinforcing lab and workshop infrastructure in vocational schools, 85 million liras was allocated for the renovation of existing workshops and establishment of new ones.
 
Ministry allocated additional funds of the establishment of physics, chemistry and biology labs in selected schools.
 
"Project continues as planned"
Deputy Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stressed that the 1000 schools in the Vocational Education Project was initiated in an effort to reduce success rate differences between schools and reinforce vocational education and it's a largely participated project including school administrators, teachers, students, parents and school in a school environment.
 
Noting that it is an important project including school administrators, teachers, students, parents and school environment, Özer said, "Activities concerning the project are carried out as planned."
 
Reminding that one of the objectives of the project was the establishment of labs in every selected school, Özer stated: "We have achieved our goal to establish 1000 libraries in 1000 schools in March. Another objective of the project was to establish physics, chemistry and biology labs in all schools. We have allocated the required funds. We will complete our activities and achieve this goal within this month."
