TRACES OF EDUCATION ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REPUBLIC EXHIBITION

The opening ceremony of the Traces of Education on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic exhibition, prepared by the Ministry of National Education Directorate General of Support Services and the Directorate General of Innovation and Educational Technologies as part of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic, will be held at the Exhibition Hall of the Museum of the Turkish and Islamic Arts in Istanbul with the participation of Minister Tekin on Monday, October 2.
 
The exhibition consists of a selections of educational photographs, documents and materials starting from the last period of the Ottoman Empire till today, which are in the archives of the Ministry of National Education, Atatürk Education Museum, Istanbul University Rare Works, Archive of Sultan Abdulhamid II, The Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications and the National Library of Türkiye.  
 
The "Traces of Education on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic" exhibition will create a link between the past and the future with photographs and objects. It aims to embark on an educational journey that extends to interactive boards, robots and future centuries.
 
In the entrance section of the exhibition, testimonies, certificates, licenses, notebooks and educational photographs from the last period of the Ottoman Empire will be included as they form the basis for the understanding of education in the Republican Era. In the continuation of the exhibition, diplomas, course materials and photographs, especially from the Republican Period from past to present, will be included.
 
Covering educational environments, methods, technologies, materials, activities and practices from past to present, the photographs and objects in the exhibition aim to renew the national memory by presenting traces of our educational history.
 
175 photographs and related educational materials will be used in the Traces of Education on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic exhibition. The exhibition can be visited until October 15.
